Caterpillar 301.9 100% Battery Electric Mini Excavator

Last week, we had the opportunity to test the Caterpillar 301.9 100% electric and autonomous mini-excavator for the first time at the VeloSolutions worksite next to the Monthey ice rink.

Initial feedback from the customer has been positive: the mini-excavator clearly meets the machinist’s expectations. The noise reduction is much appreciated, and the machine is comfortable to use. The machine’s fast charging system works perfectly and meets the customer’s expectations.

This mini-excavator is currently being tested as a prototype.
